Roxanne Brown Jewellery
Born
and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Roxanne Brown grew up in a family of
creative people. Roxanne has been an accomplished seamstress for her adult life
with an eye and enthusiasm for tasteful embellishment and accessories.
Over
the past 9 years Roxanne has also applied her accumulated skill and artistry to
creating jewellery. In the beginning, it was artistically combining handcrafted
Lampwork art glass beads of other independent artists from around the world.
In
2013 Roxanne opened her own silversmith studio and began working in silver and
copper while at the same time taking new classes to advance her knowledge and
skill level.
Roxanne
is incorporating her large collection of art glass beads with the silver, a
process that is not easy as the heat that is required to connect silver is the
same heat that will crack glass. She is always looking for new directions to
express her imagination.
Roxanne's
creations come together under the label of Roxanne Brown Jewellery.
