Laura Steadman is a
silversmith and glass artist from Regina, Sk. She began her training in 2008 by
taking classes at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre. Laura continued her
studies taking courses by artists from the United States, South Africa and
France. Over the years, Laura has exhibited her work at numerous juried shows
in the province including two annual shows hosted by JewelleryWon.
Laura is a
juried member of the Saskatchewan Craft Council and is co-founder of
JewelleryWon - a group developed as a means to support and encourage
Saskatchewan jewellery artists by providing a venue to help them thrive, grow
and create marketing opportunities. These days you can find Laura in her brand
new studio & shop in Regina's thriving Warehouse district. 1455 Rose St
(inside Riders Gear Shop) in Regina.
