Linda
Olson is from Regina Saskatchewan. She
began her beading career by making jewelry for herself. Soon her friends began commissioning
individual pieces and by 2007 her hobby became her vocation. Each piece of
jewelry is created from glass, crystal, or stone beads she has sourced from
around the globe. Although Linda’s
beading prowess is primarily self-taught she is a member of “Amigas Jewel’s”
which is an association of creative artisans in Ajijic Mexico that is dedicated
to sharing their knowledge and skills in jewelry. Linda’s goal is to provide distinctive
jewelry at affordable prices.
Linda
won first place in the Ajijic Society of the Arts 2016 Judged Show, Jewelry
Division.
